New York State DMV Approved Defensive Driving Course

This defensive driving course has been reviewed and approved by the New York State DMV for the Internet Point and Insurance Reduction Program (I-PIRP) so the accident prevention course (APC) can be delivered online. You'll have all the benefits of the classroom course, including point and insurance reduction, through a convenient online course!

You'll receive the same benefits of a four-point reduction on your driver's record and a mandatory 10% insurance discount through this online course as you would in a classroom.

Upon completion of the New York defensive driving course, your Certificate of Completion will be transmitted to the New York State DMV to update your driver record. A copy of your certificate will be forwarded via US mail to the address provided on your registration. If you need your certificate quickly, we offer the following delivery options for expediting:

You'll need to provide a copy of your certificate of completion to your auto insurance company to receive your mandatory 10% auto insurance reduction.
